I'm happy to announce general availability of Zekr 1.1.0 (final) just before Ramadan 1433.
This release is deeply devoted to the Muslims of Rohingya, Myanmar, world’s most prosecuted people who are expelled, killed and oppressed as a daily routine in their own country. Please pray for them in this holy month of Ramadan.
This version of Zekr is similar to 1.1.0m1 in features, plus a few bug fixes. Main highlights of this release (same as 1.1.0m1) are: - Listening to multiple (two or more) recitations, aya by aya, is possible.
- It is possible now to dock recitation player on: bottom, top, task pane and even have it float.
- Show translation under search results.
- Native support for media keys on Windows (play, pause, next/previous track, etc.).
- Zekr is now shown on the system tray icon.
As of this version, for first time we have a portable Linux version containing Java (JRE 1.7.0.5) and Mozilla browser (XULRunner 10.0.4), which should work seamlessly on any recent Linux distribution. Windows portable version was already available for a few years.

We are happy to announce availability of Zekr 1.0.0. This is the most major release after about 6 years of development. Our 0.1.0 version was released in the early 2005 and now by the Ramadan of 1431 (August 2010), Zekr 1.0.0 is ready for download. Please make du'a for Muslims around the world and specially people of Gaza. This is to announce release of Zekr 0.7.6. This version has a number of bug fixes over 0.7.5 and works as a release candidate for Zekr 1.0.0, to be released before this Ramadan, inshaAllah. If we receive important bug reports before 1.0.0, we will release more versions before this version. We need more advertising for Zekr. Please put a link back to Zekr.org on your website, weblog, network using a logo from "Spread Zekr page". We have also a new fan page in Facebook, thanks to Shad Shahid. Zadovoljstvo nam je objaviti da je Zekr 0.7.5 sada dostupan u finalnoj verziji. Ova verzija ima mnogo poboljšanih opcija u odnosu na prethodno izdanje 0.7.1, a najznačajnije poboljšanje je novi audio player.
Naredno izdanje Zekr Kur'ana će biti 1.0.0 i bit će dostupno nekoliko sedmica nakon izdanja 0.7.5, na osnovu povratnih informacija koje nam šaljete za trenutnu verziju. 1.0.0 neće imati većih promjena u odnosu na 0.7.5.
Preuzmite i koristite ovu verziju i šaljite nam povratne informacije. Za naredno izdanje trebamo potpuni redizajn web sajta, i mnogo reklamiranja softvera na Internetu kako bi bio prvi rezultat ovog upita.

Zekr 0.7.5 beta 3 je upravo postao dostupan. Ovo izdanje uvodi sljedeće nove opcije: - Novi napredni Goto dijalog sa brojnim opcijama. Aktivirate ga sa Ctrl+G. Možete navigirati do Al-Fatiha:3, tako što ćete jednostavno unijeti al-fa:3 i pritisnuti enter.
- Sada je moguće preslušati recitaciju ajeta koji su vraćeni kao rezultat pretrage koristeći malu ikonu pored svakog ajeta.
Kako bi se olakšalo Debian pakovanje, kodna baza Zekr-a je sada kompatibilna sa Lucene 2.9.x i 3.0.0. |
